Congratulations to Sklar Technology Partners, of Mechanicsville, Va.
for submitting the winning IMSN success story for September 2005.
This summer, Sklar Technology Partners received a call from lead
partner, Axxys Technologies (Frisco, Texas), looking for an IT staff
augmentation need in our geographic area on short notice.
One of Axxys Technologies customers needed them to temporarily
fulfill a position left open by a sudden employee resignation. Sklar
Technology was able to help and had a technician on site the next
morning.
However, what started out as a requirement for only one week of
service turned into an indefinite, ongoing assignment with Sklar
Technologies’ technician, who now is on site three full days per
week. The Axxys Technologies' customer was very impressed with the
technician and felt comfortable with the services provided.
The customer has the on-site technician they need to take care of
their desktop and back-office IT requirements while they search for
a suitable replacement. Additionally, the client is so pleased with
the quality of technician's work that he has gained the respect of
management there to the point where they are having him attend
management meetings to review prospective employee resumes.
By partnering with Sklar Technolgy through IMSN for this IT staff
augmentation demand, Axxys Technologies was able to provide the
client with unprecedented response time and a high-quality service
delivery, without having to fly a technician across the country to
the location. This obviously saved their customer a considerable
amount of time and money.
Sklar Technology also benefited from this partnership because this
yielded 100% utilization from one of their technicians for more than
50 business days. This is definitely a win-win for all parties.
